The following are insured under this insurance

1. Students and staff in educational establishments (including the staff in kindergartens and nurseries) – elementary, middle, associate, and higher education (excluding part-time students, in night schools or courses)

2. Children in kindergartens and nurseries

 

Risks covered and amount of the compensation

1. For students and staff in educational establishments, including the staff in kindergartens and nurseries:

  • Death of the Insured due to an accident
  • Permanent work disability due to an accident
  • Temporary work disability of the Insured due to an accident
  • Temporary work disability of the Insured due to an infectious disease

 

Expenses for medicines, resulting from an accident during the term of the contract and incurred within 30 calendar days from the date of the accident – amounts up to 10% of the insurance amount are paid to the Insured, but no more than 300 BGN.

Expenses for repatriation and funeral, resulting from an accident during the term of the contract – up to 10% of the insurance amount, but no more than 300 BGN.

 

2. For children in kindergartens and nurseries:

ü  Permanent work disability due to an accident – a percentage of the insurance amount is paid to the Insured, equal to the percentage of the ability to work lost, determined by a Territorial Expert Medical Committee (TEMC) or the Insurance Medical Committee (IMC)

  • Temporary work disability of the Insured
  • Temporary work disability of the Insured due to an infectious disease

 

Expenses for medicines, resulting from an accident during the term of the contract and incurred within 30 calendar days from the date of the accident – amounts up to 10% of the insurance amount are paid to the Insured, but no more than 300 BGN.

Expenses for repatriation and funeral, resulting from an accident during the term of the contract – up to 10% of the insurance amount, but no more than 300 BGN.

The minimum insurance premium for one insurance is 5.00 BGN.
