Accident with athletes

Under these Special Terms, insurance is contracted on the life of individuals at the age of up to 65 completed years, who are actively involved in sports activities, students in sports schools, organized into teams, sports clubs, federations, companies, etc., as well as individuals practicing sports activities in their spare time.

Risks covered and amount of the compensation

• Death of the Insured due to an accident
• Permanent work disability due to an accident
• Permanent work disability
• Temporary work disability of the Insured due to an accident

Under these Special Terms, events which have occurred during the practice of the respective type of sport specified in the insurance policy are also considered an accident.

The parties to the insurance contract can agree upon an increased value of the insurance amount for the risks of death due to an accident and/or permanent work disability due to an accident which has occurred during a competition, including the preparation time immediately prior to the competition.

The minimum insurance premium for one insurance is 5.00 BGN.
